Step 3: After Downloading The Excel Tool, Follow The Instructions And Enter The Information From Your Form 16 Into It.

Step 4: Determine The Amount Of Tax Due, Make A Payment, And Include The Challan Information In Your Tax Return. In The Event That You Don't Owe Any Taxes, You Can Skip This Step Entirely.

Step 5: Once You've Double-Checked The Information You Entered, You'll Make An Xml File, Which Will Be Saved On Your Computer By Itself.

Step 6: Select "Submit Return" And Then Upload The Xml File.

Step 7: If You Have A Digital Signature, Sign The File. If Not, Skip This Step.

Step 8: Finally, You're Done. You Will Receive Confirmation That Your E-Filing Was Successful. The Itr-Verification Acknowledgment Form Is Also Generated And Can Be Downloaded. It Is Also Sent To The Registered Email Address.
